Review – HG 1/144 GF13-050NSW Nobell Gundam [Berserker Mode]

This is the High- Grade 1/144 scale model kit of the GF13-050NSW Nobell Gundam [Berserker Mode] produced by Bandai 2011 Japan. This suit design is from Future Century series.

I always wanted to have a female figure kit since 2011. Yes, long time ago... I finally brought this kit last year (almost year ended) someone was willing to sale it from his rare collections. He posted number of lists from the Facebook group in ‘Brunei Gunpla Marketplace’, this guy sale a lot of good kits ranging from rare to 2015 kits.  But I’m glad that I finally have Nobell Gundam.

I’m not a fan of berserker mode, just because of the blown hair and the colour way off my taste. I prefer her hair downwards which has the famine side. There were times that I wish to repaint this kit into Nobell’s Normal Mode because just to keep it original look, but will see.

Let’s talk about something I like, I love the articulation on this kit, easily pose-able and nothing fells off while I move around this kit. I like they give few hands option; hand fists, opened-hands, peace hand-pose. There aren’t that much of details (I understand it’s an old kit) but overall concept is pretty!

The hair looks a bit tough I mean there’s nothing much to move around except the side parts... B.O.R.I.N.G! The skirt is pretty though I have to say. Love the design of the whole kit, I believe inspired by the character named Sailormoon (I’ve watched 2 episodes on the 1 season of Sailormoon back when I was 9? – during that time it was in Japanese audio with no English subtitle!). Anyway, this kit only has 2 beam sabers and that’s it. I wish they included the long ribbon-like saber beam (the one with Nobell’s normal mode had) that’s one of the reasons I love with unique weapon.

Do I plan to repaint this kit in future?

Yes to 80% lol the remaining 20% prefer as it is.

Because I’m desperately wanted the normal mode of Nobell Gundam, searching for years to find that kit but I failed! Until I’ve found the berserker mode which wasn’t much differences as the normal mode and decided to buy one.
