Review – HG 1/144 scale model Gundam Astaroth

More reviews from IBO series;

This is the High- Grade 1/144 scale model kit of the Gundam Astaroth produced by Bandai 2016 Japan. This suit design is from the Iron-Blooded Orphans Manga anime series.

Love at first sight since the breaking news from ‘Gundamguy’ (blogspot) last two months ago? Love all the features about this kit and decided to buy one.

Though, this is my second build kit from IBO series and I finding this kit very satisfy. The pricing for this kit is BND19.00 only at ‘Gundam Kits Brunei’ @ HALF HALF at Mall Gadong (support local store and do visit their Facebook page for more info). I also got Gundam Gusion Rebake from this store too!

You gotta love the art box above! One of the reasons I bought this kit LOL

And continue to impress this kit; the best features are the long sword and uneven blue arm part on the left side. It’s uncanny to have unbalance armour design, some mash up kit from other mobile suits is something unusual but I quite like it.  It gives a sense of possibilities to evolve or to improve the kit more fascinating. The details on this kit are insanely good if I happened to panel-lined, the details could be noticeable more and look absolutely awesome.

Few things that need to point out are that the side skirts is so tough, I mean it can only move one way only! (one rotation). Which I’m so trouble making this kit a good pose. Basically, it’s not good, although I love the design but somehow it spoils everything. Others like, the feet is so plain blue (I can’t deal with the stickers provided either), high heels is great but it’s too bland for me. If I could repaint it or adding some details with pla-plates just to get the intention and balance it out all the colour scheme.

That’s all I have to say, essentially all base on my opinions and personal reviews. I really love this kit so much! I can’t wait to build more from IBO kits series.

Coming up next blog: from Universal Centuries line

For now, I might slow down again because in just less than a week I will resume back studying for my final year degree!
