Flyer

Open day (1st day)
I submitted my very first entry for my HG 1/144 GM GYEOUL (winter in Korea
Original kit - 1/144 HGUC RGM-79FP GM Striker.

Through that time, I was the second entry who registered that day (I thought I was late to registered because I came in late like an hour?) and what makes me disappoint was at the end of the day, only 5 who made through the entry on the first day of ToyCon.
I was expecting more of local builders to participate the competitions.

For this 2nd ToyCon, the organizer held more categories than before; which opens up to 10 categories. Normally there were just 5 or 6 categories.

That night, I was told to leave my kit there, I wasn't sure about it, I don’t really relied on them to take care my kit but I trust them. I have this worried feelings that I can’t afford to lose something that means to me, so, I did pray for the maintaining in one piece.

The next day (2nd day)
it was an official day for the opening 2nd Toy Convention 2015 in Brunei.
The official starts at 12 pm.

I came in around just before the official starts and as I was wondering around the competition entry section, I saw more coming entries which satisfied me a little but hoping for more!

In the toy exhibitions sections were never unpleased us by the local collectors. Ranging from an old cartoon series, Marvel, Transformers, Military, Air force (Plane), Lego (Simpson, Star Wars and more), DC (batman), Chucky (the killer doll), more Star Wars figurines, Anime Figurines and last but not least, Gundam/GunPla!!

Yeah, you guessed it which section was my heaven, LOL!

The final day (3rd day)
I finally see the final entry for the competitions.
I counted roughly around 25 entries which include Gundam, Gundam Diorama, Military Tanks and Tamiya Cars. Since it was a last day, all toy vendors prepared us the best discounts for selected items and free give away items to appreciate awesome event by the organizer (Brunei Hobby Enthusiastic).

The winners for each category were announced at 3 pm sharp.
The first announcement they announce for the Stand Alone Beginner category,

and guess what?!

I made through the 1st place for the category “Stand Alone Beginner”!!

Something I wasn’t expecting, because, I’m literally a beginner in this GunPla community. I just started into GunPla this year August! But with all the hard work without a lesson I learn from local builder, Social Media is where I born myself to be a GunPla builder and I have many thanks to my inspired builder/guru to ZakuAurelius(aka Zack), he made a simple tutorial for beginners out there how to properly build scratch Gundam out from the box. I recommended for beginners out there, do visit his YouTube channel ZakuAurelius for more inside tutorials, you named it, he has it all!

So, here's some of photos taken from exhibitions and entries during the event.

p/s : I won't share my custom kit for this post, i will save it for another time around.

Thank you for your time :)
